Once it arrives, highly skilled artists, designers, and craftspeople work by hand to refine and transform it into a fabric, employing centuries-old processes passed down from generation to generation.
The wool industry in Kashmir is supposed to have been founded by Zayn-ul-Abidin, the monarch of Kashmir in the 15th century.
